There are a variety of different microphones that will work well to record educational content. The rule of thumb is that the more expensive the microphone setup is, the better - but that doesn’t mean you need to break the bank.
If
you are looking to source one on your own, the microphone must:
Have USB to connect to your computer
Be on a stand (or you can buy one separately) so it can be positioned off the desk, preferably at mouth height
Have a pop filter (this helps stop pops and clicks)
