Topic outline
-
The main lectures for this unit are presented as lecture summaries. They are presentation slides which summarise the lecture content discussed in the on-campus lectures. They include an audio commentary and written notes. You should use these presentations as your primary learning resource.
As well as working through the lecture summaries, you can also watch short videos taken from campus lectures, which cover all the content.
Note that there are either two or three lecture summaries for most weeks, and a number of lecture videos.
The lecture summaries are presented in several difference ways to suit your needs:
-
- Streamed from the UniSA servers. You must be connected to the internet to play this format. How quickly the lecture summary will load and start playing will depend on the strength of your internet connection and on which browser you are using (for example, Chrome tends to load faster than IE or Firefox). The presentations will play in your web browser.
- Downloadable to play when not connected to the internet. These are in the form of zip files, which you must download. Then unzip the zip folder, and extract the files (this is very important). You will be able to play the index.html file in your web browser.
- Slides and notes. You can also download a printable .pdf version of the lecture summary notes and slides.
