Teams are a common element of organisations in today's society. Teams may be formal functional or cross-functional teams and these often function virtually, geographically dispersed within a city, country or around the world.
Teamwork is an important element of working in any organisation. You will have your own job to complete independently, but have the additional accountability to the other members of the team. In order to do this effectively, good communication and, sometimes, a great deal of patience and tolerance is needed throughout the team.
