    Business School Recording Studio (DP2- 36)

    The Business School has a recording studio managed by the Online Educational Designer team (OED) that provides recording facilities for academic and professional staff currently working on projects with the OED team. The equipment available enables a variety of recording approaches. Recording, editing and post production is done by the OED team.

    EASS City West Recording Studio (BH4-10)

    The EASS recording studio is designed so that academics can produce their own recordings with minimal assistance. After an introductory session on how to use the studio, conducted by the Online Educational Designer, academics can operate the studio by themselves. The video file is saved to USB storage on completion. If required, the academic can edit their recording with Echo 360 or Movie Maker and upload to Echo36o, Helix Media Library or YouTube. An Online Educational Designer will support this activity.

    • Full green screen
    • 3 different areas for recording (Lectern, Free standing and Interview)
    • Picture in picture (PIP) capability
    • Touch screen controls
    • 1 fixed automated camera with zoom and adjustment capabilities.
    • 2 large screens so academics can see themselves and any PowerPoints/images/videos/backgrounds they use.
    • 2 lapel microphones
    • Fully automated recording
    • Recorded file automatically transferred to USB
    • The studio can be booked through Outlook calendar

    Playford Recording Studio (P5-17)

    The Playford Recording Studio is designed so that academics can produce their own recordings with minimal assistance. After an introductory session on how to use the studio, conducted by the Online Educational Designer, academics can operate the studio by themselves.     Media Studio (GP1-12)

    The GP1-12 video recording studio provides recording facilities for academic and professional staff currently working on projects within the ITEE Divisional Office’s Online Education Designer (OED) team. All recording, editing and post production is handled by the OED team and AV support staff.

    The studio can be booked by contacting the Online Educational Designer team at Mawson Lakes. Availability is based on OED capacity. Priority is given to staff currently working on projects with the OED team.
