You can print either a chapter (page and any sub-pages) or the whole book.
- Go into the book/page that you are interested in printing.
- On the left-hand menus in the unit, you will see the following. Click on these and follow the instructions.
If you haven't used closed captioning on YouTube before, it is quite easy to do.
When a video begins playing, simply click the "CC" button in the bottom menu of the video panel.
To turn it back off, just click it again.
There are various types of forums in this unit/course.
A News Forum is provided in the unit for the coordinator of the unit to distribute important information to the whole class.
Each course site includes a forum for General Q&A and/or Forums related to specific assignments. Please use this forum in preference to emailing general questions, especially where other students are likely to have the same or similar questions. Online classes can be very large, so we don't want to minimise the occurrence of multiple instances of the same questions being asked.
Weekly Forums are about the content of the course and there is usually an activity or question posed that you are required to answer. In this unit the Weekly forum 3 - 12 are assessed.
You can select which forums you subscribe to. We strongly encourage you to subscribe to all forums; this is online learning, much of which happens by observing what others have written. The students who stand to gain the best value from their studies are those who subscribe to all the forums, including every topic. A summary is emailed to you once or twice a day, so it's not hard to scan through looking for relevant issues. If you choose not to use this method, you could miss critical information from your tutor, and you won't see the very useful discussions that come up in the Q&A forums.
