Lecture Recording System

Overview

The Lecture Recording System (LRS) provides an automated solution to record the audio content of lectures and images processed through the data projector. Recordings are automatically scheduled and published to the learnonline course site as interactive Flash, M4V video and MP3 audio files that can be viewed on a computer or mobile device or downloaded for added flexibility. Scheduled lectures are automatically recorded and published to the learnonline course site shortly after the end of the lecture. Lectures are recorded at the discretion of the Course Coordinator who may decide to stop the automatic recording process and provide lecture content in other ways.

Lecture recordings are retained for 15 months only.

The LRS has been installed in the following 38 lecture theatres.
