What is Academic Misconduct?
Academic misconduct occurs when staff or students disregard the values of academic integrity. UniSA's Assessment Policies and Procedures Manual (2022) (Section 9.2.1) identifies the different types of academic misconduct, which are explained in more detail in this module.
Some examples include:
plagiarism (copying work from other sources; not accurately following referencing guidelines)
cheating in exams
copying or falsifying documents or data
getting other people to write your work
doing someone else's work for them
