Hi all,

My name is Georgia, I am currently studying a Bachelor of Management (Human Resource Management) and I am in my last semester, so I am hoping to complete my degree by November this year. My dream job immediately after graduation would be either in a recruitment role or to get involved in Industrial Relations as I am passionate about both of these aspects of HR.

My placement is at Veolia, a global company who offer organisations with environmental solutions (such as waste management, water managements and energy management). I begin placement Tuesday the 30th of August and I am hoping to finish my placement by the end of October. 

I expect to to undertake a range of different tasks, which will  expose me to and allow me to experience the various different aspects to HR. However, I expect to be trained to learn the varoius different administrative software programs utilised by the company in terms of recruitment and shortlisting candidates, as well as their payroll system. I also expect to help make policies and learn how inductions are done for new employees.
