Learning Activity Artefacts (from EDUC 3063)
Completion requirements
Your learning activity artefact(s) need to be submitted in this glossary every week by Friday at 10PM. Your comment(s) to at least one peer needs to be made by Saturday at 10PM.
You are free to submit and comment well in advance of these deadlines, however, comments may only be made once other students have begun submitting their artefacts. For this reason, for the benefit of all, I ask students not to wait until the last minute.
To add a glossary entry:
- From the glossary page, click the "Add a new entry" button.
- Under "Concept", enter your first name followed by the learning activity this artefact is associated with (e.g. Tanya 1.1).
- If you are providing a narrative text, type it in the provided box.
- If you are providing a photo, video or audio, use add an attachment.
- Click the "Save changes" button to add your submission to the glossary.
- You will have 30 minutes to make any changes before your post becomes permanent.
To comment on a classmates entry:
- Take time to look at all your peers' work.
- When you look at the glossary list, you'll see a blue "Comments" link in the lower left-hand corner. Click the link to open a comments box and add your comment(s)
- Click the "Save changes" button to save your comment(s). Once you've saved your comment, Moodle will display all of the comments for the entry.
- When you return to the main glossary page, if you received any comments, you'll see a new message next to the speech balloon associated with your submission telling you the number of comments you received. Read any comments you received and, if you like, respond to them.
