Time Management

Some people are very good time managers - they get assignments completed early without having to stress trying to get all functions complete the night before, all work is done and they still have time for a social life and work.  However, many people have issues with planning their time, especially if given a large task that they have to break down.

In the workplace, you will have many tasks to perform during the day.  As mentioned in the video, creating a "To do" list, often best done before you leave work at the end of the day rather than in the morning, is a good way to itemise the activities you need to address and even give you the opportunity to prioritise them.  If using a "To do" list, it is equally important to remove or check off completed tasks.  This helps you with motivation as you can visualise the tasks achieved at the end of the day.
