Ethical behaviour reflects our upbringing and influences from our peers, parents, school and society.  In the workplace, we add the Code of Ethics that applies to the functions for which we are responsible.  They include elements such as

• confidentiality, whether explicit, within procedures, or implied where discussion of work outside of the office is not acceptable
• professionalism in your time usage 
• use of workplace facilities for non-work purposes
• communication with / treatment of others with consideration and equality
• avoiding stereotyping and accepting diversity within the workplace
