Self awareness relates to your

• strengths and weaknesses
• transferable skills 
• values and beliefs
• personality traits
• life and career needs

Once you have determined these, you are able to look at your career options.  Key focus points here are:

• Where do you want to work ie what is your mobility.  Are you looking locally, rural, interstate or internationally
• Do you have a targeted list of employers to work for?

You can then move on to decision making.  Part of this will be identifying the jobs that you will find rewarding for you related to your personal investigations.  This may include setting some short, medium and long term goals as you did at the beginning of this activity.

Finally, you need to work on marketing yourself - creating a professional identity.  This is done through 

• the creation of your résumé
• writing application letters - must not have a standard letter as they must fit the advertisement or opportunity
• networking
• working on interviewing skills
