If you have an assessment item that you want students to work on together, the best process for setting this up in learnonline is below:
- Create the groups and add the students who need to do the group assessment in them, this can be done via Manual Groups, Auto-create Groups or using the Group Self-Selection Activity.
- Create a manual grouping and name it something relevant to the assessment.
- Add the groups from step 1. to the grouping in step 2.
- Specify in the assessment that students need to work in groups.
If you want the assessment to be assigned to a default grouping, select one of the default groupings in the Grouping for student groups when setting up the assessment rather than following the steps above.
