Group Assessment

If you have an assessment item that you want students to work on together, the best process for setting this up in learnonline is below:

  1. Create the groups and add the students who need to do the group assessment in them, this can be done via Manual GroupsAuto-create Groups or using the Group Self-Selection Activity.
  2. Create a manual grouping and name it something relevant to the assessment.
  3. Add the groups from step 1. to the grouping in step 2.
  4. Specify in the assessment that students need to work in groups.

If you want the assessment to be assigned to a default grouping, select one of the default groupings in the Grouping for student groups when setting up the assessment rather than following the steps above.
