Glossary Settings - Appearance

The default setting for the 'Appearance' options are shown in the picture below.

  • There are seven display formats to choose from: Simple/dictionary style; Continuous without author; Full with author; Full without author; Encyclopedia; Entry list and FAQ. These options are outlined in the question mark BTN_help question mark.jpgwithin learnonline. number 1 grey
  • This option allows you to use a different display format when approving glossary items. number 2 grey
  • Choose the number of entries to display per page. number 3 grey
  • If this option is enabled, students can browse the glossary by letters of the alphabet. number 4 grey
  • If enabled, this options allows students to browse all entries at once. number 5 grey
  • If enabled, this options allows students to browse the glossary by special characters, such as @ and #. number 6 grey
  • If enabled, students are provided with a link to a printer-friendly version of the glossary. The link is always available to staff. number 7 grey
