Adding Blocks

Blocks can be used to make selecting elements within the course more prominent. The COURSE ESSENTIALS block is located throughout all courses and minimal changes can be made to this block to ensure students have the same access to content in there for each course they take. However you can add multiple other blocks, including the below list. If you have already added one of the blocks to your course, it will no longer appear in the list.

  • Activities
  • Activity results
  • Blog menu, tags or recent entries
  • Calendar
  • Completion progress
  • Course completion status
  • Publisher resources
  • Online users
  • Profile
  • Recent activity
  • Textbooks
