Moving Videos from Medial to Panopto

UniSA Media Library (Medial) provides a repository for video and audio files that can be linked to learnonline pages. However, Panopto is the preferred option to upload all UniSA produced videos.

This may require you to move videos from Medial to Panopto. This process involves two steps. First the videos have to be downloaded from Medial and then uploaded into Panopto.  

Downloading videos from Medial

  • Log in to Learnonline.
  • Locate the recording that you want to move to Panopto.
  • Click on the recording.

1. Click on the Menu button below the video. 

Note: If there is no download link available see Alternative Download Option.

2. Click on Download Media

3. Save the downloaded file to your local drive.

Alternative Download Option

  • Log in to UniSA Media Library.
  • Locate the recording that you want to move to Panopto.
  • Click on the recording.

1. Scroll down to the info box under the video and make sure that the About tab is selected.

2. Right-click on the Download button. Then click on Save link as... A window will pop up that allows you to save the file on your local drive.

Upload files to Panopto
