Students must apply for and secure their own in-industry opportunity, and follow the processes outlined in the Approval for In-Industry Experience section to have it approved by the university before commencing their in-industry placement.
IMPORTANT: No student is allowed to undertake their In-Industry Experience Placement without PRIOR approval from the Industry Experience Team.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have already completed the PPP your eligibility for the below opportunities may be impacted. Once your PPP is completed, you should instead be looking for ongoing opportunities through your network or via sites such as UniSA Career Hub, Seek, LinkedIn, GradConnection etc.
The final decision regarding student selection rests solely with the host organisation.

Kimberly-Clark (KC) Millicent Mill is a world class manufacturing facility where we make our leading brands and have done so for 65 years! In our first year of operations, we produced approximately 4,000 tonnes of toilet paper and tissue. Today, we produce approximately 85,000 tonnes per year. This position is located at our Millicent Mill, commencing in January 2026, and will span for a fixed 6-week period. Our Engineering Internship (Vacation Student) will focus on continuous improvement projects across our Mills Tissue and Converting assets. During the program the successful intern will be assigned projects to be completed across the 6 weeks. This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role’s country only. Kimberly-Clark will not provide relocation support for this role. |
