Initially, your studies will follow the same program outline which makes up the Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography (Vascular).
Once you have completed, or received credit for, the eight 'core' courses of the Masters degree, you can then use the enrolment advice relevant to your stream to select which elective courses you will study to meet the requirements for your Master of Medical Sonography (Vascular) - scroll to the bottom of the page & look for your program name under the 'Postgraduate' title.

Applicants without training positions
From 2022, all applicants, who are not already accredited sonographers, will be required to demonstrate evidence that they are in a suitable training position for entry into the Graduate Diploma and Masters in Medical sonography (IGSO and IMSO) programs.
We acknowledge that there will be some applicants without training positions, who are either interested in exploring Medical Sonography as a profession, or who have been asked by a radiology practice to complete introductory courses prior to being able to start their training officially. To accommodate these students, we offer a Professional Certificate in Sonographic Principles and Theory. You can find more information about this option here.
