The Professional Certificate in Sonographic Principles and Theory is designed to provide foundational knowledge and skills for health professionals looking for a career change into Medical Sonography. This professional certificate will allow students to complete two introductory courses whilst they explore the industry and work to secure the training position required for application into the Graduate Diploma and Masters of Medical Sonography.
This is a suitable option for future students who have had a radiology practice ask them to complete the introductory Medical Sonography courses prior to the commencement of a training position. Once the training position has been formalised, the student will be able to transfer into the Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Sonography program and continue with their studies. Credit for courses studied in this Professional Certificate will be awarded towards the Medical Sonography program.
