White Card Training
Are you going into industry over the summer break? Do you need to enter a construction site? If so, you will need a White Card.
Don't have a White Card?
Anyone who works on a building/construction site, must hold a White Card.
To obtain your White Card you must complete one day of training and the required assessment, through a registered training provider.
White Card training specifies the mandatory work health and safety knowledge and provides the participant with a common understanding of WHS principles and practices used on construction sites in Australia.
Course Content:
- Legislation
- Hazard Management
- Identifying and reporting common construction hazards
- Understanding risk control measures
- Responding to potential incidents and emergencies
- Selecting and fitting common personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Safe Use of Plant and Equipment
- Safety Signs
- Licencing and Certification
- Accident and Incident Reporting
- Site Emergency and Evacuation
- Site and Public Safety
When you have successfully completed the assessment and received your White Card this will last for the duration of your working life as it does not expire.
