The annual upgrade to learnonline (moodle) will occur on 4th of January. The upgrade from Moodle 3.9 to Moodle 3.11 will require an outage of six hours. Outage details:

During this time, the learnonline environment will not be available.
This time has been carefully chosen to minimise the impact on users.
The following will be included in this release:
- a rework of the extensions functionality – this will provide a much more user-friendly experience when requesting or processing extensions
- ability to request/set extensions for formative assignments and quizzes
- the inclusion of Turnitin for summative forums
- Turnitin for summative quizzes that have an essay question
- ability to set minimum and maximum word limits for quiz essay questions.
