In April 2023 Turnitin released an AI Writing Detection report visible to teaching staff as part of Turinitin’s Feedback Studio (which includes the Similarity Report).

After careful consideration, UniSA has decided to disable the AI Writing Detection report within the Feedback Studio. This will have no impact on the Similarity Report.

The TIU will continue to collaborate with colleagues across the Higher Education sector to review and test generative artificial intelligence detection tools.
