Moodle was successfully upgraded this morning from version 2.7 to 2.9.

Most enhancements relate to back-end functionality that enhance performance with minimal impact on the way staff and students use Moodle.

A new theme has been applied with cosmetic changes that simplify screen appearance. The new theme provides a streamlined interface in the Grader Report and functionality to dock/undock blocks to the left side of the screen. This gives students (and staff) the capacity to customise appearance and on-screen functionality to meet their individual learning needs. Help resources are being updated to reflect functional changes.
