Hello, My name is Isaac Size and I am studying a Bachelor of Management (Human Resource Management).

I will have completed my undergraduate degree by the end of 2016. My dream job would be to eventually be a HR Director or a General Manager of an organisation, but i have intentions to travel the world post University before entering full-time work. 

My placement will be at General Dynamics Land Systems Australia, this organisation is a defence contractor and is responsible for creating armoured vehicles and battle tanks for the Australian Defence Force and it operates on a national and international scale. The placement will run from 29th Feb to 30th May. My task will be to create a skills matrix for the Adelaide portion of the company, which comprises of 55 employees across 12 different departments. I will be working with department managers to create position descriptions and skills required for each individual role within their department. I will then liaise with department managers further to collect and collate current skills of all employees to then compare these skills against position descriptions to assess competency in their current role.
