Hi everyone,

My name is Leah and I am completing a Master of Human Resource Management.

I have just changed to a part time load and thus will complete this degree by the end of 2017.

I would like to become a HR Advisor, which I would be able to research legislation and HR best practice to ensure advice and guidance are up to date as well as many other functions.

I started my placement at Minda Inc. in early December 2015 and will complete it by the end of March 2016.

My role is to develop a workforce action plan by researching and developing strategies for suitable approaches to transition to retirement for employees in an organisation where staff turnover is low, an ageing workforce is growing and the industry is undergoing massive change with the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
