My name is Connor Hartshorne and I am currently completing a double degree - one in Tourism & Event Management and the other in a Bachelor of Business (Marketing).

I am aiming to have these completed by the end of 2016.

Post graduation i hope to be working within the wine industry, either organising and implementing music events or marketing the brand as a whole.

My placement is at S.C Pannell wines located in McLaren Vale. I will be starting this placement in late July and will finish it when the music event is held on the 13th of November.

Within my placement i will be helping organise and implement a 3000 person music event at the winery, including aspects such as council applications, risk assessments, liquor licensing, venue layout and stakeholder management.
