My name is Nadia, I am currently studying Tourism and Event Management. In my third year of studying I hope to be finished by July next year. Post graduation I hope to get into the events career as I've always wanted to plan weddings or be involved in a wedding some way. My placement is at a disability service called 'Xclent'. I aim to start the end of November post exam period and complete at the end of Janurary. 

The tasks I will be involved in overseeing the marketing and delivery of Christmas holiday programs and events in conjunction with the sister company, Wilderness Escape Outdoor Adventures.

develop overall marketing strategy : prepare an ongoing communications schedule 

website: create a vibrant and alive website 

email marketing: preparation of digital communications 

social media presence: create relevant communications to increase stakeholder engagement at their Facebook page 

events: assisting ith any promotional events and assist with the preparation and delivery of Xlent holiday programs 

To ensure an ongoing positive image is portrayed of persons living with a disability: be aware of the disability service standards 

To keep accurate records and prepare report: Maintaining accurate records of all activities 

To support and uphold the aims and philosophies of Xlent 

To maintain knowledge of current occupational health and safety legislation requirements to pursue these in the implementation of Xlent services and functions

To carry out other duties as negotiated with the business manager
