Before you develop your own 3D printed object it is a good idea to get familiar with using a CAD (computer aided design) program.

There are many different programs to help you design your object for 3D printing including Tinkercad, a free online CAD program that lets you create your own designs for 3D printing. When you create an account it will store your designs online so you can log in and access them at anytime.

There are also tutorials to work through that will help you learn how to use this platform. To access these simply click on the "Learn" tab near the top right of the screen when you log into Tinkercad.
