• 'Getting started' page to explain how the process will work
  • Suggested plan(s) for working through the modules
  • Information about what is assessed and how it will be assessed

This suite of online modules cover the following areas:

  1. Research methods
  2. Biostatistics/Data analysis
  3. Introduction to statistical software packages
  4. Qualitative Research (currently under construction)

All modules have been set up as online 'books', which are designed so that you can work your way through the content at your own pace.

The books for each module have a navigation system which you can find in the Table of Contents block at the top left of your screen (refer Figure 1).  You can use these Table of Contents as navigational tools, or to revisit specific parts of a module.

If you want to work your way through each module from start to finish, you can also use the arrows located at the top or bottom of each page to click to the next section (or to go backwards if needed) (refer Figure 2).

To return to the Home page click on the home page button on the top right hand side (refer Figure 3).

Eventually each module will have a set of learning objectives and self assessment quizzes (some are still under construction).  It is intended that when you complete a module, that you will feel confident that you can meet each of the learning objectives.  These objectives are what will be assessed.  On completion of each module, you will be directed to the assessment activity.

We hope that after completing each module you will feel confident and capable in the knowledge and skills taught.

Happy learning!
