Note:  UniSA STEM research proposals are due within six months full time (12 months part time) from the student’s candidature commencement date. Successful completion of this milestone leads to confirmation of candidature.

Research proposals must be submitted with the following documents to the Research Degree Coordinator, via STEM-Research@unisa.edu.au, for assessment prior to the six-month due date.

• iThenticate Report for the Research Proposal

• Research Induction Plan

• Statement of Agreement

• Student Project Participation Agreement (if applicable)

• Data Management Plan

• Research Integrity Module Completion Certificate

Your Research Proposal should be maximum 6,000 words for main body, plus supporting information/appendices. Appendices allows for further reading by the panel if they choose to.

The format of a Research Proposal is to be Arial Font, 12pt, with 1.5 line spacing, and 2cm margins.
