The Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography (IGSO) has been designed to provide medical radiation and other allied health professionals with the mechanism to develop professional skills in the area of Medical Sonography and students are required to complete 36 units of study (8 core subjects). These core subjects provide students with underpinning knowledge and skills to undertake and interpret sonographic examinations. Upon completion, graduates are eligible to register with ASAR as an Accredited Medical Sonographer.
The Master of Medical Sonography (IMSO) requires an additional 18 units of study in order to complete the program and provides medical radiation and other health professionals with the mechanism to undertake further research in this specialist field.
The Graduate Certificate in Breast Imaging (ICBR) provides students with the mechanism to develop new skills and knowledge in specialist areas of mammography and breast ultrasound. Upon completion, graduates are eligible to register with ASAR as an Accredited Breast Sonographer.
