The grading system for subjects at the University can be found in Section 8 of the Assessment Policies and Procedures whose link can be found in Criterion 6.6 above.
Grades indicate the level of performance in an assessment against specified criteria and standards. Grades are awarded in all subjects, except for Clinical Sonography Portfolio, which is focused on the ability for students to demonstrate clinical competence as an entry-level Sonographer. For this reason, all assessments in this final capstone subject are marked using a 'non-graded pass' or 'fail' allocation.
The marking criteria and rubrics are made available via the learnonline sites. Marked assignments are returned with the respective feedback sheet or marking rubric.
The UniSA Allied Health and Human Performance moderation guide can be found in Criteria 6.6. This ensure consistency in grading across all subjects in the program and is used by all staff (permanent or casual) when assessing assessments.
