Students are required to complete the foundation subjects of the Courses: Professional Issues for Sonographers and Ultrasound Physics and Instrumentation, before they enrol in remaining subjects.
They are required to demonstrate a minimum of 200 supervised scanning hours per semester and and overall of 2200 hours to meet the ASAR requirements (equivalent to 3 days of scanning per week over a 2 year period as recommended). A table showing alignment between course content (including clinical experience) in relation to graduate competency outcomes as well as the statement explaining the clinical experience hours across the courses has been presented as the evidence for Criterion 2.4.
The Course Outlines have been provided as evidence for Criterion 2.3.
Subject outlines have been presented as evidence for Criterion 1.10.
Course outcome data has been presented as evidence under the Criteria 1.1, 1.2, 1.4 heading. Further evidence is provided for 1.7.
