Hi everyone my name is Madeline but I prefer to be called Maddy. I am in the final year of a Bachelor of Management (Human Resource Management) and I am hoping to finish my degree in 2016.

My dream job post-graduation would be working in a large HR team in an established company or corporate environment where I would have exposure to, and the opportunity to learn a range of HR generalist duties.

My placement is starting tomorrow (30th June) at the Stamford Hotels (Stamford Plaza and Stamford Grand). I am completing my placement full time and am due to finish on 22nd July.

The tasks I am expecting to complete as a part of my placement are not limited to:

Assist with the implementation of new online training platform
Assist with the end to end recruitment process
Assist with consultative workshop on a range of topics
Assist with the administration of performance appraisals
Gain experience in implementing projects
Work within a fast paced, dynamic work environment
Exposure to general HR activities
