Hi guys my name is Emily.  I go ny either Emily or Em I honestly don't mind! 

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Tourism and Event Management and I hope to have completed my course by the end of 2017. 

Istill have to find out what my dream job would be,  but I hope it involves either being an event manager for a retail (clothing) store or festival, or an event nanager or on a tourism board for exotic and exciting places around the world. My placement starts today (1st of July)  and commences around the 25th of September. 

My placement is with the Arlberg in Mt Hotham, Victoria. It starts today (1st of July) and wilk be commencing around the 25th of September. I will be in constant contact with the owners, operations manager, marketing manager and bar and bistro management to organize suitable events for a snow season,  both in the hotel and outside it.  Some of the tasks I will be doing include; organising events,  help run events that were pre-planned before the snow season started,  being an effective team member in and out of meetings, helping run the hotel,  answering questions about mount hotham in general and the hotel itself.
