Please ensure STEMIE submissions are uploaded by one designated teacher from each school to the STEMIE Teacher Moodle. This will allow the teacher to have all submissions attached to their grade book for tracking points to qualify for the Regional Showcase.
A satisfactory submission could include:
- Methodology, safety and equipment list developed to accurately investigate one aspect of the science behind metals. This can include investigations into metal reactivity, flame colours, acid/base reactions, conductivity, electrochemistry/electroplating or other relevant chemical property linked to metals.
- Results of experiment and conclusions relating to obtained results
- Discussion of accuracy and precision of methodology, sources of error (both random and systematic) and discussion of suggested improvements
