Individual communication with the Teaching Team (talk to the teaching team tool)

Use this dialogue tool for private communication with a teacher.

These messages will only be seen by you and by the teaching team, not by other students

To initiate a dialogue, follow these instructions:

1. Make sure that the tabs below are set to 'View Conversations', and 'Open'.

2. Click the 'Create' button.

3. On the Create page:

    • Open with: Use the tiny arrow on the right-hand side of the 'Search potentials...' box to find the teacher you wish to open the dialogue with.  You can also type part of the teacher's name and it should appear.
    • Bulk Open Rule: This option allows you to select groups of recipients for your message - you can probably ignore this.
    • Message: Give your message a subject heading, then type the text into the editing box. You can add attachments if you need to.

4. Finally, either Send the message, or Save it as a Draft.

Below, you can also see a time-stamped history of your Open and Closed Dialogues. You can sort these by recency or by name.

There is also a tab to check any draft dialogues which you have not yet sent.
