Inquiry Based Learning (IBL)
We learn best when we have control of our own learning and engage in discussion with others. Inquiry-based learning is an active learning process where you are driven by your own curiosities and questions. Your knowledge and understanding grows from interactions with others and your questioning attitude as you search for answers. In searching for answers you realise there are many, as people have different experiences to draw upon different ideas, values and attitudes. Exploring, discussing, questioning, whilst being open to new ideas is the essence of learning and the basic premise for inquiry-based learning.
