What is Glossary?
A glossary is a very helpful tool when you are beginning a new course or topic, particularly if that topic involves an extensive new vocabulary or new concepts - which is certainly true of this course.
Rather than simply providing you with a long list of new terms/words, new developments, new resources which you might or might not already be aware of, we would like you to be involved in the creation and development of a central repository of shared resources for Aviation Industry.
You should contribute and collaboratively create a glossary of Aviation Industry. With this type of collaborative glossary, you are much more likely to remember the words/terms and the subject.
Aim: This glossary is aimed at developing a collaborative bank of key terms, sharing useful videos, images and revising historical facts which you might encounter in various resources on the website and in the external resources on the Internet. This glossary is also linked to the text in the website, so that you should be able to hover your mouse over the included words and terms to see an explanation.
Rationale: Engaging in the process of learning, debating, and refining a glossary can go a long way toward helping you to begin using these new terms.
If you find any new terms, new resources, historical facts related to Aviation Industry, share in this glossary each week. You can comment on each other's entry and provide constructive feedback. This is a collaborative exercise. You can add text, videos, and image etc as well.
What you are required to do?
Note: You can also add files or images (but you will need a url for your image for reference). Some example entries have been added for you to get you started. Don't forget to provide proper references and the source information.
