• The Teaching Academic Group (TAG) brings a coherent and strategic approach to supporting the teaching-research aims of the Education Futures Academic Unit.

    The Teaching Academic Group aims to use a Community of Practice (Wenger, 2002) and Continuous Professional Development (Teras, 2014) model to:

    1.  Strengthen the teaching-research nexus of academics within EDC

    2.  Create a collegial network of Teaching Academics

    3.  Offer opportunities for Teaching Academics to explore teaching, learning and research initiatives  within and beyond EDC and

    4.  Support Teaching Academics to develop goals that enable them to shape and progress their academic career.
