Getting Started in Teaching provides opportunities for Teaching Academics to come together to build understandings of digital and face-to-face approaches to teaching in higher education.
We aim to support Teaching Academics through ongoing collegial networks and gatherings and we provide and encourage professional learning opportunities and resources.
A key initiative is to facilitate networking through a series of coffee meetings which are practical workshops to support academics to get started in teaching eg policy translation, learnonline development, moderation, grade entry etc.
We will also introduce Teaching Academics to the suite of activities offered by TAG to raise awareness of future professional learning opportunities to enhance and advance your academic career.
