    The Teaching Academic Group (TAG) brings a coherent and strategic approach to supporting the teaching-research aims of the Education Futures Academic Unit.

    The Teaching Academic Group aims to use a Community of Practice (Wenger, 2002) and Continuous Professional Development (Teras, 2014) model to:

    1.  Strengthen the teaching-research nexus of academics within EDC;

    2.  Create a collegial network of Teaching Academics;

    3.  Offer opportunities for Teaching Academics to explore teaching, learning and research  initiatives  within and beyond EDC; and

    4.  Support Teaching Academics to develop goals that enable them to shape and progress their academic career.
