Scenario A1. 

A Midwife conducts an initial consultation with a young Kenyan Australian woman with limited English, whose husband acts as interpreter in discussing reproductive health. The Midwife explains the pre-natal tests and processes.

Scenario A2.

A Sonographer introduces herself to a young child who is scheduled for a hip scan, explains the procedure and persuades the reluctant child to undergo the procedure.

An Occupational Therapist calls on a disorientated, elderly client, in order to conduct a home assessment.  

Scenario A4.

A Podiatrist provides instructions on ulcer care to an Indigenous Australian, and sets up a subsequent appointment.

Scenario A5

A Pharmacist explains drug regime over the counter to a man with a poor command of English, who is unhappy that his medication has been changed. 

Scenario A6.

A Radiation Therapist explains treatment to an elderly man who does not really understand the procedure, and has a number of questions for her.

A Dietician performs an assessment on a female patient of Muslim faith, who asks that her husband be present with her during the examination.

Scenario A8.

A Nurse assists an elderly patient who is in pain from a recent operation, and is reluctant to move.

Scenario A9.

A Radiographer positions a young Australian woman (who has a hearing disability) for a shoulder x-ray.

Scenario A10.

A Physiotherapist closes off a consultation with a young Australian man with a knee injury, giving instructions for exercises and dealing with his concerns about recovery.
