UniSA thesis template

The UniSA sample thesis template is designed to format the  chapters and appendices of your thesis.

The template is most suitable for a discursive thesis. It does not contain provision for mathematical symbolism. However, it can be used for a thesis containing extensive numerical data using the Table feature of MS Word.

    General features

    • Simple and easily modified
    • Runs on Word 2007 or later, either on Mac or PC
    • Conforms to UniSA guidelines for thesis presentation

    Specific features

    The UniSA sample thesis template will format your chapters and appendices, and includes:

    • chapter (or appendix) number and title
    • five levels of headings set in a sans serif font (Arial)
    • body text set in an acceptable serif print font (Times New Roman 12 point)
    • block quotes
    • intertext boxes to interpolate textual material
    • bulleted and numbered lists
    • table and figure captions
    • referencing format
    • appendices

    Other sample templates

    The UniSA sample thesis template is a default option only. It may not suit your field of research. Other samples are also available. Your local area may also provide one.
