Master document
To familiarise you with Master document, a very readable set of instructions written by Christine Davis of the School of Education is provided. They should be read in conjunction with the other help sources listed below.
- Creating a master document in Word 2003 and earlier versions
- Creating a master document in Word 2007
Caution – This workshop recommends that you use Master document only when you have completed all chapters and appendices, edited them and checked that they are set to the same template (see Apply the thesis template to an existing document – opens in new window). This will help you avoid the precarious and ponderous process of using Master document throughout the writing of your thesis. |
