Working with your template

Now that you have chosen a template to work with, you can start working with it. Remember that the earlier you start using your template, the easier it will be in the last stages of your thesis completion, as by then you will be used to the quirks and features of the template, and will now how to fix/adjust them.

We recommend writing your chapters in separate Word documents (with the template attached) and putting them together at the end. This prevents your documents from becoming unwieldy, and also means that if the template in one of them becomes corrupted, the others won't be. Creating separate chapters works whether you are using the 'Master document' method or the 'Insert Text' method for compiling your thesis.
