Site Type values are key elements used when creating Organisations and Sites.
Site Types enable the configuration of Placement Blocks to allow students to submit Pre-Offer Preferences for the type of Site they wish to be placed, and are also used for reporting purposes.
How do I create a new Site Type / update an existing Site Type?
Site Type values are configured by Placement Administrators:
Student Placements > Placement Setup > Site Types
Placement Officers should send an email request to their Placement Administrator to request a Site Type value be created, updated or corrected.
Placement Administrators should refer to the following process instructions:
- Create a Site Type Value if the Site Type value does not exist in Medici
- Update a Site Type Value if the Site Type value already exists within Medici
- Correct a Site Type Value if the Site Type value data is invalid and was never valid
- Update the Status of a Site Type Value to ‘Inactive’ if the Site Type value is/will be no longer required
