Primary MBET students are required to undertake 4 x Primary Studies Specialisation (PSS) courses throughout the 4 years of their program.
We highly recommend that you undertake 4 x PSS courses in 1 x Learning Area or 2 x PSS courses in 2 x Learning Areas.
For example a student could choose to take all 4 PSS courses in English OR x2 PSS courses in English + x2 PSS courses in HASS
This will give you the option to teach in these areas up to Year 7 in a school setting.
The following documents describe the appropriate patterns of enrolment for the more popular Learning Areas. If you need any clarification please don't hesitate to contact us at: EDC-TeachingLearning@unisa.edu.au
