All student information and updates are located on the whiteboard in Level 3 Outpatient X-ray (checking area). Clinical Supervisor Sessions: There is a meeting between students and the clinical supervisor at 3:30pm every Wednesday on Level 5 in a meeting room (the wayfinding code for the booked room will be on the student whiteboard weekly). We will discuss administrative issues such as rostering, signing etc and also go through interesting cases and often an educational session relating to image interpretation, anatomy, pathology, audit etc. CPD Sessions: There is also a CPD session run monthly featuring a different modality, check flyers within the department but students are welcome.

SAMI Clinical Placement Coordinator Meetings: Emma Liu (SAMI Clinical Placement Coordinator) comes to the site regularly. She will have a booking for a meeting room which may change each week. Please be advised of changes to this meeting room by checking the whiteboard in level 3. Trauma Meetings: 3rd and 4th year students have the opportunity to attend Trauma Meetings on Wednesdays 0900 – 1000. These meetings review an interesting multi modality trauma case each week.

Trauma Meetings:
3rd and 4th year students have the opportunity to attend Trauma Meetings on Tuesdays 0900 –
1000. These meetings review trauma cases from the previous week looking at key time points
and service delivery, with discussions about possible improvements. Medical Imaging is
discussed in this meeting. Please do not take notes or discuss this meeting outside of the
session due to confidentiality.

Interesting Cases:
Sunrise EMR (Previously ESMI) was introduced to the RAH in November 2015, this has increased functionality of being able to add interesting cases to an interesting cases folder. There is also a student folder,please add any interesting cases to this folder for discussion in the Wednesday meeting or with Emma Liu. There are instructions on how to do this in your RAH placement folder (provided for use during your placement) or ask a radiographer. It is also of benefit if you review these folders during downtime.
