The Repatriation General Hospital (RGH or Repat) is a public teaching hospital located at Daw Park, within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN). The Repat was built in 1942, its primary objective being to care for wounded veterans returning from World War II. In the 1970’s Repat’s role broadened as it began accepting community patients. While the hospital is now a general public hospital caring for any patients over 18yrs, it maintains a strong focus on veteran’s health. RGH offers high quality integrated care from the acute stages through to rehabilitation.

 

Repat Radiology provides a broad range of examinations and procedures for private outpatients as well as hospital inpatients and outpatients. The department consists of 3 general x-ray rooms (2 DR units, 1 CR unit), Digital OPG, Digital fluoroscopy suite, Intervention suite, 2 theatre Image Intensifiers and 5 portable units. There are also 2 general rooms located in the Outpatient Department for hospital clinics. The department also has a CT scanner and 4 ultrasound rooms.
